THE CHRIS & KRIS METHOD™

The C.K. Reset Framework

Real life can leave individuals and couples feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about what comes next. The C.K. Reset Framework is a practical, faith-centered process designed to help people face what is real, take responsibility for what they can change, rebuild what has been damaged, and move forward with greater clarity and purpose.

“Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” — Romans 12:2

A Framework for Real Life

The C.K. Reset is not about pretending pain does not exist or offering quick answers to complicated problems. It is about slowing down, identifying what is happening beneath the surface, and taking intentional steps toward healthier thinking, stronger relationships, personal responsibility, and spiritual growth.

Each part of the framework builds on the one before it. The goal is not perfection. The goal is honest progress with truth, grace, accountability, and Christ at the center.

01

Reality

Face what is true without hiding from it.

Change begins when we honestly acknowledge what is happening. This step helps identify the real issue, the emotions beneath it, the patterns that keep repeating, and the areas that have been avoided.

Reality is not about blame. It is about creating a truthful starting point so healing and growth can begin.

Questions we may explore

  • What is really happening beneath the surface?
  • What patterns continue to repeat?
  • What truth has been difficult to face?
  • What is this situation costing emotionally, spiritually, or relationally?
02

Responsibility

Own your part and stop the cycle.

Responsibility means identifying what belongs to you without carrying what belongs to someone else. It requires honesty about choices, reactions, habits, boundaries, and the ways personal behavior may be contributing to the problem.

This step moves the conversation away from excuses and toward meaningful ownership.

Questions we may explore

  • What part of this situation can you control?
  • Where do you need to take ownership?
  • What behavior needs to stop or change?
  • What boundary or decision needs to be made?
03

Reconnection

Rebuild trust, communication, and spiritual alignment.

Disconnection often grows through silence, defensiveness, misunderstanding, unresolved pain, or emotional distance. Reconnection focuses on restoring healthy communication and creating space for honesty, empathy, forgiveness, and mutual understanding.

Depending on the situation, reconnection may involve rebuilding trust with a spouse, reconnecting with family, restoring personal identity, or strengthening a relationship with God.

Questions we may explore

  • What has created distance or broken trust?
  • What needs to be communicated honestly?
  • What does healthy reconnection look like?
  • Where are grace, forgiveness, or stronger boundaries needed?
04

Rebuild

Create healthier habits, boundaries, and direction.

Insight alone does not create lasting change. Rebuilding turns understanding into action through practical decisions, healthier routines, clearer boundaries, improved communication, and measurable next steps.

This stage focuses on creating a stronger foundation instead of returning to the same patterns.

Questions we may explore

  • What needs to be rebuilt first?
  • What new habits will support lasting change?
  • What boundaries will protect the progress being made?
  • What practical steps can begin this week?
05

Reinforce

Protect the progress and keep moving forward.

Lasting growth requires reinforcement. This step focuses on accountability, consistency, spiritual grounding, and recognizing the early warning signs of old patterns.

Reinforcement helps turn temporary improvement into a healthier way of living, relating, and responding.

Questions we may explore

  • What could pull you back into the old cycle?
  • Who can help hold you accountable?
  • What practices will keep you spiritually and emotionally grounded?
  • How will progress be measured and maintained?
